Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park (USA), is one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World and its vastness humbles the artist and photographer. It is such a joy to attempt to capture its beauty, needing to be in the right place at the right time.
This is a classic South Rim view on the South Kaibab Rim Trail. I am especially fond of trees, these being Pinyon Pines, and I like to use them to frame around my photography of these famous landmarks. This is truly a “glow over the canyon", O’Neill Butte is approaching the “Golden Hour” at Mather Point Lookout. A glorious time to view and capture the Grand Canyon, "Golden Hour Bliss!"

One of my favorite trees in the entire southwest is the Pinyon tree -- they are so beautiful. These look magnificent against the majestic backdrop of the Grand Canyon. Great capture, Janet! Featured in American Desert Southwest.

Very nice work Marie. I have a similar image made into a large canvas hanging in my living room which I took almost 5 years ago, and I remember me literally hanging off the edge with my photo buddy behind me grabbing on to me from the collar of my shirt so I can take this shot. What a thrill I tell you!! Your fantastic image here reminds me of that precarious moment... lol. Wonderful image Marie! Definitely glorious.

Hany! Thank you for ALL your visits to my gallery and sharing such enthusiastic comments about my artwork. There was no danger to capturing this shot, along this lovely paved path on the Kaibab rim trail, at Mather Point. Such scenes are largely ignored, as people scurry along the trail to get to the sought after viewpoints. O’Neill Butte is a perfect spot during golden hour, and viewing through the trees is the icing on the cake, seemingly unbelievable that this, is beyond the trees. I am not as daring as you to get a shot. Falling over the edge, would just ruin an otherwise great day. I am glad that I could bring to your mind, such a memorable occasion, and that you feel it’s wonderful and glorious. I appreciate knowing that. Janet💕
