There are many different varieties of these flowers growing all around the world. Since geranium flowers are gentle and fragile, it is no wonder that this flower in particular is the symbol of gentility and kind nature.
I have certainly enjoyed so many artistic possibilities, with my deep red geraniums, with their non-stop blooming power. Capturing them in various stages of growth, and times of the day. Not always so easy to pull off, so satisfying when you can.
The beauty of geranium flowers is in their simplicity and humbleness. They can help us feel closer to each other, and make our lives more colorful and beautiful. I know they do mine. I never tire of capturing their vibrancy. On this late spring day, I was really "Loving The Red!" A lovely, come back surprise, after some unseasonably, cold snowy days of winter.
