Description
The Arizona Prickly Pear Cactus is one of my favorite cactus. They only bloom in the springtime. Here is seen the Engelmann Prickly Pear Cactus, Opuntia engelmannii, perhaps the most widespread of all prickly pear cacti. The spines are shorter than the Tulip Prickly Pear cactus I have also featured, and point downward.
This capture was taken right in my own desert garden of joy. These cactus blooms remind me of my favorite flower, the rose, "Luscious Layers" of loveliness.
🌼🌼 Yellow just evokes such lovely feelings of joy and happiness; a symbol of "FRIENDSHIP!" So, I DEDICATE this to all my fellow artist FRIENDS, with much thanks and appreciation, for all the love and support I have been shown. 🌼🌼
