I love the Arizona Sonoran Desert, Summer Monsoon Rainy Season, because it means FABULOUS CLOUDS. I love clouds in all their stages.

I am ever amazed at what cloudscape will I witness that day. I can always expect to be surprised, at the ever changing atmospheric conditions of our 5th season, the wet summer of monsoon season, and what it will share with me, this July day of 2018, (in fact I had 3 days in a row of wonderful cloud formations, this day was exceptional though).

This day afforded me many fabulous photography moments of the clouds. Going from billowy, dramatic clouds, to full out, rip roaring cumulonimbus and hammerhead clouds. Little did I know that this was just the beginning. With them building up over the mountains to the northwest as well.

It truly is "Menacing Monsoon Madness," as they are forming over the Rincon Mountains. A view I have right at my fingertips, so to speak. While looking so ominous, I just had to capture this panoramic view, in a favorite medium of mine, black and white photography.
