Description
After the initial overlook views at Meteora, in central Greece. We took a path to our first visit of Monastery of Roussanou, one of six monasteries, to see beautiful scenic views.
The scenic views began on a lovely forested path. What a treat to walk through a European forest, filled with lush landscape and lovely wildflowers. I am very fond of tree and marvel at the bark of the trees. Now in my Sonoran Desert I do not see what you see here.
Here is an obvious demonstration of plants that live on other trees. The tree bark supports the plant community on the surfaces of these trees. I could not help but notice these delicate fern like plants, against the rugged, textured bark.
A wonderful way that other species participate in the forest ecosystem, "Meteora's Forest Marvels!"

Eva Maria Nova has got you to notice the tiny world of miniature plants and flowers. You donโt miss a thing!....fav / like
Janet Marie replied:
I have always noticed these special things, but Eva truly inspired me to capture it, and to realize all the artistic possibilities with the unnoticed by most. It's as the expression goes, "to stop and smell the roses!" I don't see these little fern-like plants growing on trees in our neck of the woods (no pun intended). Moss yes. So it added to my captivation of trees and wood wonders. Thank you Eva for your love and inspiration! ๐๐๐๐
