Description
I love the Arizona Sonoran Desert, Summer Monsoon Rainy Season, because it means FABULOUS CLOUDS. I love clouds in all their stages.
I am ever amazed at what cloudscape will I witness that day. I can always expect and be surprised, at the ever changing atmospheric conditions of our 5th season, the wet summer of monsoon season, and what it will share with me, this July day of 2018, (in fact I had 3 days in a row of wonderful cloud formations, this day was exceptional though).
This day afforded me many fabulous photography moments of the clouds. Little did I know that this was just the beginning. With them building up over the mountains to the northwest, as well.
Here they are with a "Monsoon Buildup" over the Rincon Mountains, a view I have right at my fingertips, so to speak. While, making their billowy, dramatic entrance, I just had to capture them in a favorite medium of mine, black and white photography.

Thank you so much Chance for your wonderful comment about my recent series of clouds, photographed on July 19, 2018. As the sun was going down the entire sky became this phenomenal atmospheric situation. This image was the start of awesome cloudscapes, culminating two and half hours later to the entire sky becoming a strange phenomenon Jerry and I hadnβt seen before. This in black and white was more dramatic and impressive. I am glad you like it and feel itβs incredible. Janet π
