Description
Despite its small size, probably insignificant wildflowers to most, these colorful blooms caught my attention. The Desert Globe Mallow (sphaeralcea ambigua), are bright orange-red or apricot, 5-petaled wildflowers, near the tips of weak, wide-ranging, sometimes sprawling stems (needing to be captured on a calm day). The most drought tolerant of its species.
They are part of my, "Calling All Wildflowers collection!" The lighting creating a moody blue behind the vibrant bloom. My "Moody Blue Desert Mallow!"

I can’t take a whole lot of credit for the flower beauty, the Creator takes credit for that. I was out, taking some images of other desert flora and came across these colorful but very small wildflowers. Probably unnoticed by most. I was quite fortunate to get this shot, as they are a tall shrub, and it was breezy. The lighting gave off a blissfully blue look, and was surprised how lovely it turned out. I don’t have any special photoshop type programs. Thank you for your continued support of my photography. I really appreciate it! Janet💕
