Panoramic Rincon Rain

Just one of the many marvelous views we have of Rincon Peak, right outside Jerry’s art studio. It lent itself to my favorite, black and white photography. Giving it as you said, a dramatic feel. I love black and white photography, but sometimes hesitate to post them due lack of confidence that others will feel the same as I do. So when I receive expressions like yours, I need to rethink my shyness in posting my black and white artwork. It is rare to in the Sonoran Desert to capture a summer morning rain. Michel! What a wonderful surprise to have you stop by my gallery and share your always appreciated thoughts about my artwork. I am honored and humbled by your words, delighted that you like it and feel it's a "great one." That means a lot. The cream on the top is the train tower. Double sets of train tracks are right behind there, cutting through the open spaces of our Sonoran Desert. One of the things we enjoy about our home on natural desert. We are surrounded by mountains (these, the Rincon Mountains, being the closest). The tower is really part of the landscape, playing a very important role for the safety of the trains. I also appreciate you choosing this as one of your favorites! 💕Janet

Thank you Jerry! I so glad you like it and feel it’s lovely work. I like the subtle color version too, but this dramatic version as well. Morning light is so quick and fleeting. I would like to capture more sunrise, but they come so early, the clouds are not always present either. I appreciate you choosing this as one of your favorites too. 💕💕💕💕
