Description
The Athenian Acropolis, is a rocky hill, that sits in the middle of Athens, Greece. It truly is an outstanding example of an "Architectural Ensemble," showcasing its important historical phases, since the 16th century B.C.E. The monuments of the Acropolis are distinctly unique structures, evoking the concepts of that period in the 5th century B.C.E., and representing the height of ancient Greek architectural achievement.
The grand composition of these marvelous, massive structures creates a monumental landscape of unique beauty to behold. They are made up of a complete series of architectural masterpieces of the 5th century B.C.E.
One of those masterpieces is the prominently, magnificent temple, the Parthenon. This close-up scenic view, is as seen from our hotel, ironically named "The Artist's Loft." It is late spring, and the beautiful greenery surrounds the Acropolis, it is truly "Parthenon Pageantry."

Thank you dear Jerry! It certainly was amazing to think of standing in such history. Viewing the Parthenon from afar was quite a sight. I had to pinch myself that I could view it from our Artist's Loft picture window. Lit up at night was amazing.

So wonderful to have you visit mine and Jerry’s gallery and share your beautiful thoughts about our artwork. Jerry has this room especially designed for creating a sound stage, as though listening live. I am now in a space for posting these images of history. We had this view from our hotel loft.
