I love the Arizona Sonoran Desert, Summer Monsoon Rainy Season, because it means FABULOUS, MASSIVE CLOUDS. I love clouds in all their stages.
One of the single most fearsome and unusual looking clouds in the sky is probably the famous anvil shaped cumulonimbus incus cloud. This cloud signifies a mature storm and usually comes with some very serious weather. One of these tells you that the weather is going to be very bad for sure.
The Rincon Mountain Range is in view, right outside my back door. During August, the summer monsoon season is at an all time high. Most every afternoon, I just have to check to see what is lurking in the clouds. It seems so unbelievable that I got to witness such a rare sight.
What an exhilarating experience, to be out photographing the beauty and "Power In The Clouds" as it makes a vivid impression on me!
