When you visit the Saguaro National Park East-Rincon Mountain District in the springtime, expect to be elated by all the colorful beauty of wildflowers.
Purple is my passion color, so purple blooms of any kind are a stand out for me. No matter how insignificant they may seem to others. I came across these wonderful, delicate looking small ball-shaped, fuzzy, flower clusters. It's pure purplelicious pleasantry, indeed. They can also be magenta or pinkish purple.
Their beauty is enhanced against the gold of the brittle bush flowers. Complementary colors indeed.
