Description
When the summer monsoon season arrives in the Sonoran Desert of Southern Arizona, it means wondrous cloudscapes, surreal sunsets, and rainswept skies. As always, glorious colors of blues and ambers illuminate the sky. I am watching, as the "Rain Sweeps Across The Desert," the Tucson Mountain range, is in the far distance.
August is a peak time for the sun to go down directly behind these mountains, located in the heart of Tucson. Eventually, the sun inches its way to the left of these mountains, as we drift into fall and winter.

What an amazing cloudscape. I must say, you haven't figured out by now by my comments or a lot of the paintings I do, I absolutely love the monsoons so I just have to browse through your gallery when I am missing them. This is such a beautiful photo!

You got that right, as I have the privilege to view what the sunsets does to all four mountain ranges. This is right off Colossal Cave Rd., one mile in from I-10, near my home. A vivid sky is painted before me all summer long, and beyond. I am glad you like this and feel as you. Thank you for that.
