Description
๐๐To see more of this surprisingly lush and diverse beauty of Saguaro National Park, home to monarchs of the Sonoran Desert, the unique saguaro cactus, visit my "Saguaro National Park-Arizona" Collection๐๐
On the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona (USA), a small but vital part of the Sonoran Desert is preserved as the Saguaro National Park (East-Rincon Mountain District). It's one of 3 national parks in Arizona.
Before entering this National Park, one can drive along the outside borders, on Old Spanish Trail. When scenic spots come into view, I like to stop to photograph these different perspectives of Saguaro National Park. The Rincon Mountain range adorns the Park throughout. It's a winter day, and after a snowfall, the famous Rincon Peak can be seen in the distance, full of snow. Interesting how the Saguaro Cactus is not solitary, nor in bare dirt, as so many picture them in various settings. Ahh, the beauty of the Sonoran Desert's rocky, saguaro laden, hillside terrain.
As the weather warms up though, this snow will soon be gone. So for now, it's enJOY the "Rincon Peak Snow Splendor!"

Beautifully composed! That is such a wonderful desert landscape scene. The colors of the rocks showing through the various cactus and shrubs are really pretty and add such a nice contrast to the green tones. Well done, my artBUDette!! Featured in American Desert Southwest.
