**Explore Zion National Park Travel Art, in my "Zion National Park-Utah" Collection**
All wonderful destinations need a host city--somewhere to get you fed, and put up for the night, so that you can be rested before you set out on your wilderness adventure. Cuzco is basecamp for Machu Picchu, the Acropolis sits above Athens and Zion National Park has the town of Springdale, Utah.
Springdale is located on the southern border of Zion, with a population of 592. As you can see here, it gives you incredible views right from the town's main byway, aptly named Zion Park Boulevard. Just some of the many flowers adorning the main by-way. New England Aster, quite a showy plant, purpleliciously clothed, as purple is my passion color, and "Springdale's Splendor!"

This time of day produces such a wonderful abstract background, giving glimpses of the colors of the flowers in the background. It's early evening at sundown, in Springdale, Utah.
