Christiane! Thank you for visiting my gallery and sharing your thoughts about my photography. I really appreciate it! Sadly to say this barrel cactus is no more. In fact a curve-billed thrasher in 2020 undermined the root area constantly digging for bugs, that it put it in a dying state. I have had much beautiful captures with this desert plant. Janet💕

I know, wasn't he wonderful. What a lovely man. Sweet, kind, caring, and oh how he loved birds and his Art Group. Very passionate but in a humble way. I too miss him. I just couldn't stay in the group, as it just isn't the same without him. It was his baby and he made it a "oh so feel good," group.
