Thank you Pavi for that! Sadly this beautiful fish-hook barrel cactus is no more. It afforded me many photography opportunities, giving me much pleasure in the process. We had so much rain that summer, my desert acre was a virtual jungle, as you can see beyond the cactus blooms. None of my other barrel cactus, produce blooms like this one. So vibrant and full of sheen. I am glad you feel it's WOW! Big hugs, Janet💕

July through September, seeing some even into October. The petals in the sun give off an iridescent look to them. I am delighted that you like them and feel they are fantastic. The flowers that bloomed on this particular Arizona barrel cactus, which blooms in July through September, gave me so many great photographic opportunities. The feelings you expressed hear about this are exactly the feelings I hoped to evoke with this piece. This particular barrel cactus produced extremely beautiful flowers in their shape and color. I just tried to capture them at various times of the day with various lighting situations. I appreciate all your luscious words expressed about my artwork. 💕Janet

I am glad you like it, and feel these are beauties that look out of this world, a fantasy scene. I was going for something different, shooting from the barrel cactus blooms perspective. It's big favorite of mine. I had such fun photographing all the different blooms as they came up in my yard. They don't last, but they come up one at a time during the Summer Monsoon rains in August. 💕Janet
