Description
The beauty of the rose expresses promise, hope, and new beginnings. Perhaps that is why ROSES are my favorite flowers! Luscious layers of loveliness.
Another favorite of mine is black and white artwork. I wanted to really hone in on the detail of all the layers, to convey a soft feeling of thoughts drifting to the darkness. Thinking of the one who gave you this charming rose. Saying, "I will remember you, but will you remember me?"

Black and white is a favorite of mine. Although some cannot see the beauty of flowers in such a medium. But it's like you said, it's all about the tone, and lighting. Fun things to play with, for me.
