The Arizona Summer Monsoon season really hit hard in the month of July! This capture was the result of a superstorm, moving Eastward in Tucson, Arizona. Unlike anything we had witnessed before. So amazing, to be able to capture all the EVER CHANGING, glorious, grandeur of this Summer Monsoon storm system at sundown!!
I felt a bit like a "storm chaser." Trying to capture that one amazing shot! I have to say I was quite pleased to capture many phenomenal shots during this "SuperStorm." As the sun was about to set, it gave off such a fiery glow to the downpoured sky. "A Super Storm's Fiery Glow!"

Well today at sunset produced some wonderful clouds and rain was coming down all over, but here. I still was able to capture some wonderful clouds. Thank you for your awesome words expressed about this. I appreciate that vote of confidence of being considered spectacular. I can't take credit for the atmospheric opportunity, just had to be alert to capture the events. My storm chasing time in 2017. I was fearless, but more cautious now (although my desert photography with cactus thorns, and possible rattlesnake encounters, I need to be more cautious about that). I am delighted that this can give you a reminder of our fabulous monsoon weather. We haven't had an August like this, since 2009.

Oh my goodness, Douglas, the phenomenal clouds I get around my home, due to being surrounded by mountains on all sides. The Rincon Mountains right in my backyard, I get to witness these monsoon marvels at sundown. I was only out capturing these monsoon storms because it was sundown. Generally I am inside during storms like this. I have gotten more cautious since then. Your words expressed are the feelings I hoped to evoke with my Monsoon madness photography. As the sun was setting over the Tucson Mountains, it created such a fiery glow. Thank you for your enthusiastic thoughts about this, I truly appreciate it!
