Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I especially set out to photograph the Saguaro Cactus blooms, here at Sabino Canyon Recreation area, located in Tucson, Arizona (USA). There is a very large and old saguaro cactus that has grown up in the middle of a large mesquite tree. It had been 2 years since I visited this spot.
As I was busy capturing the saguaro cactus blooms, the Park Ranger pointed out that a hummingbird was nesting in a dangling mesquite tree branch. I could not believe my eyes. I had to use my 300mm lens to get in close enough, taking many shots.
This is a “broad-billed hummingbird,” also known as “Circe Hummingbird”. It grows to a length that ranges from 3.5 to 3.9 inches and a weight of 3-4 grams. It prefers to live in arid scrub, open deciduous forest, semi-desert, and other open spaces in arid habitats.

I went to Sabino Canyon Recreational area to photograph the saguaro cactus blooms, this mesquite tree once being a nurse tree for this 150 year saguaro cactus. The park ranger asked if I saw the hummingbird in the nest. It was amazing to see this nest built in this flimsy tree branch. It was not easy to do, but so glad I was able to photograph something I have never seen before. Afterward I was warned that a rattlesnake had been seen in the area. What we go through to capture those special moments. Janet💕

After photographing, the ranger said "be careful, a rattlesnake had been seen." What we do get that perfect shot. I am glad you like it and have chosen it as one of your favorites too!

Well, Susanna, I am very glad that you decided to stop by and view my photography. This truly was a rare fine for me as well. Sabino Canyon recreational area, I have visited many times. But I never was able to witness this type of hummingbird and being in the nest. It was quite the icing on the cake. What amazed me is how it built this nest hanging from this thin twig. After tromping about the area, the park ranger ended up telling me to be careful that a rattlesnake had been seen within the hour. So glad I didn’t know that before hand or I would not have gone down to this area to photograph this tremendous opportunity.
