I am honored and humbled for the nomination by Lisa Kaiser, for “THE ARTISTIC MERIT AWARD" aka "the TONY AWARD." It is most gracious of Lisa to have chosen me out of the many lovely and talented artists on Fine Art America, to be the 66th recipient for the month of April, 2021.
Receiving this award is most special, as I was chosen by an artist and friend that I admire very much. Not only for Lisa’s talent of whimsical, free-flowing, heArtfelt, work, her artistic sensibility being beyond words, but most importantly, because of the beautiful soul that she is. Her character, kind, caring, loves her family and friends to mention but a few. Thank you for your confidence in me.
I also want to thank Tony Murray for creating this special award, stating that, "The spirit of the award is really to honor fellow artists. We all strive to one degree or another and are never recognized or even given a nod by the "Art World" so this is really about paying it forward. Honor among our fellow artists, giving recognition to those left in the corner of the room, and yes, honoring those of great talent as well in the process." Also, thank you Abbie Shores, for accepting the nomination by Lisa Kaiser. I appreciate it beyond words.
This Tony Award has been a world traveler, and for the 3rd time will be a visitor of the unique Arizona Sonoran Desert. I will be introducing "Tony" to some NEW PLACES that are quite SPECIAL to me, and I will SHARE the images of his adventurous voyage with me, during the month of April. I will post them in the Community Discussion Forum, "HERE ARE THE WINNERS!"
I wanted "Tony" to feel right at home, making a spot for this achievement, among some of my favorite things. I will "keep the light on for you!"

Some I took, and some my husband took of the Tony Award and I together. Tony just had to experience the places I love to visit and photograph.
