Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The hedgehog cactus has earned its name in Arizona's Sonoran Desert, because its short, spiny stems resemble hedgehogs. The most common hedgehog-cactus varieties have intense magenta flowers, although the flowers may also appear in shades of pink, purple and lavender. The blossoms last for five days, opening in the morning and closing at night. This specie is the Robust Hedgehog Cactus.
I have about 10 hedgehog cactus groups, of various varieties. I was patiently waiting the arrival of all the buds to bloom forth. This variety, the Robust Hedgehog, graces my backyard, desert landscape. They don't all open at one time, so in celebrating that Spring has sprung, I say "Make It Two!"

Thank you so much Vicki. I am delighted that you think so. They really are a glorious cactus flower to photograph. Needing to do so before the desert cottontail eat the flowers, making them look so ugly. The spring of 2021, they didn’t even have a chance to bloom, as these rabbits ate the buds. I never saw that done in the 12 springs at my present home, on an acre of natural desert. The colors are truly beautiful.
