These three, have appeared on the outer edge of the barrel cactus, with more YET to come. So they look as though they are checking out the current state of affairs in my Desert Garden of Joy. Or getting "THE LAY OF THE LAND!!" It is SCENIC SPLENDOR, lush with grass and wildflowers from all the rain!!

Thank you Pavi for that! Sadly this beautiful fish-hook barrel cactus is no more. It afforded me many photography opportunities, giving me much pleasure in the process. We had so much rain that summer, my desert acre was a virtual jungle, as you can see beyond the cactus blooms. None of my other barrel cactus, produce blooms like this one.
