💕Keep on the sunny side of life, please visit my "Sunflower Happiness" collection of sunflowers💕
I came across these wonderful sunflowers at the Historic Empire Ranch, magnificently situated in the High Sonoran Desert and rolling grasslands of the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area. Southeast of Tucson, Arizona.
They were quite plentiful on this late summer day in September. Hence, I couldn't resist taking out my canvas and paintbrush, MY CAMERA, to capture this "Annual Sunflower" (Helianthus annuus) in the Sonoran Desert.
There was a continual change in the sky, as at times the clouds blocked the sun. I was glad to see such a beautiful cloud studded blue sky appear. A perfect backdrop for those "sunny delight" sunflower moments, with the sun backlighting the petals. It looked as they these two blooms had a disagreement and there was the parting of the ways. The perspective could not have been any better than this.
