A shallow depth of field shot can produce its own background. Roses are my favorite flowers, and these were a gift. I don’t generally photograph inside, and this session was a fun surprise for me as to how well they came out.

I enjoyed doing a series of still life photography with a group of roses given to me as a gift. I don’t usually photograph flowers inside my home. But I had fun doing that with these.
