Arizona’s Grand Canyon National Park (USA), is one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World and its vastness humbles the artist and photographer. It is such a joy to attempt to capture its beauty, needing to be in the right place at the right time. We certainly were that morning, as most people left before they could be, "Mesmerized At Mather Point!"
This is a famous landmark at Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park. Named by geologist Charles Dutton in the late 1800's, "Isis Temple," after ancient monuments of Ancient Egypt.
This wonderful August morning sunrise, was full of atmosphere, with rain, lightning, giving a marvelous morning glow at Mather Point! Creating lights and shadows to the Canyon's famous landmarks, I took a closer look at a sun kissed Isis Temple, about to be enveloped by the misty rain. What a treat to view the Grand Canyon as I never have before.
