Smyles was our grandbaby dog. He became ill, while we were in Europe with our married children and had to be put to sleep. It was a sad event to come home to. It’s a different relationship when you are the doggie grandparents. They seem to know that too. His pal Max is still with us, and has a new pal. But their is no replacing that original pairing. They were together for 12 years. Thank you, Debra for visiting and sharing your lovely thoughts about my artwork. I truly appreciate it. Smyles, a poodle, was quite wooly here, but looks completely different with a haircut.

We didn’t get to say goodbye, and I am remembering our almost 12 years of joy with our grandbaby poodle. I wrote a memory message below. Just sharing one moment of our time together.
