Description
I love the Arizona Sonoran Desert, Summer Monsoon Rainy Season, because it means FABULOUS CLOUDS, I love clouds in all their stages. I can be imaginative with the clouds and form many thoughts as to what I see with the clouds.
These Cumulus clouds are the Granddaddy of them ALL! I mean, I am just saying, that this mountain range is literally "UNDER A CLOUD"!! I felt that black and white photography was more dramatic and made a bigger statement of this Monsoon storm cloud, hanging over the landscape!!
It is, a most exhilarating experience to be out photographing these amazing, massive clouds that form in these storms. I hope you enjoy the experience, by me sharing my photography that I love with you!

So true, Debby. That is why I try to include them no matter what I am photographing outdoors. Of course, sometimes all we get is a blue sky, but I want that in the photography too. A lot of people photograph the Grand Canyon, and cut off the sky. You loose the depth and grandeur of the place, by doing that. Thank you Susan. It’s a favorite of mine, both for the huge cloud and using the black and white medium. Both the silhouetted Ocotillo plant and the jumping cholla cactus do add a nice contrast, also blocking out signs of the small town of Vail. I appreciate your expressions made. This was during summer monsoon season, so the ocotillo is full of green leaves. Janet💕
