**Explore Zion National Park Travel Art, in my "Zion National Park-Utah" Collection**
Wherever you find the wildflowers of Zion National Park Utah (USA), they give you the feeling you’ve stumbled upon a secret treasure, an extra splash of color in the dry, red rock desert.
To get to this spot, one has to walk from Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, Shuttle Stop 4, up to "Sand Bench Trail." Just a start to the "Beauty Along The Trail!" that one can enjoy. I can't resist an opportunity to capture the wildflowers that adorn the native landscape, getting up-close and personal with them. Here I am greeted by these lovely yellow wildflowers belonging to the Aster family. Looks like the autumn leaves are not all that's gold.

Thank you Debby. I hope you get to go. We’ve been there about 30 times. My husband has many paintings of our love of Zion National Park, and me, photography.

I've always wanted to take that hike, but it was closed for maintenance the last two times I was up there. (And I am hoping Kayenta is open next time I go -- it was heavily damaged in the storms) . What beautiful color. There is something wonderful to be seen everywhere in that very special place, and these lovely blossoms are no exception. Great capture, Janet! Wow Jane! You are so quick to visit my gallery. So lovely of you. Thank you so much for the HOMEPAGE FEATURE in your wonderful Art Group, "AMERICAN DESERT SOUTHWEST!" I am honored to have my artwork recognized in this special way. There were some trails closed due to damage and also for maintenance. The scenic drive was being paved from the Lodge to Sinawava, and a few of the stops were closed as well, including my favorite, Big Bend. In my 30 years of visiting there, we never had any issues. At this point in our visit, we didn't know that. Between the trees and the flowers, there was "gold in them there hills!" I appreciate your awesome words expressed about this piece. 💕Janet

Oh and BTW, Kayenta is still closed. Their official website gives the updated information. Be sure and check before you go. The Overlook hike, Angels Landing, Observation Point, Weeping Rock, and the Narrows, have been our favorites. The Pa'rus Trail and Sand Bench Trail were this time around.
