Description
It's golden hour, at the Arizona Del Lago Golf Resort, and the sun has lit up this desert flora quite lovely here. I don't play gold, but my married children do. We got to ride along in our golf-cart, while not only enjoying their game, but the natural scenic desert landscape. Of course I brought my camera to capture all this beauty.
Wildflowers are fascinating in the Arizona Sonoran Desert. I am always amazed at how these seemingly insignificant blooms, can adorn our world with their colorful and vibrant beauty. This Brittlebush flower (Encelia farinosa) is giving her last hoorah. I noticed this wild and free beauty, towards the end of the 18 hole golf game.

I really appreciate that and for you taking notice of the composition of my work. I love to get in close, with a shallow depth of field shot, creating that nice soft background. In this case the brittlebush leaves. In the springtime, this rounded shrub would be bursting with yellow flowers, and definitely noticed. This time of year, there were single blooms, twosomes, and even triples to capture.
