Yes I was eagerly waiting for their arrival, and I wasn't disappointed. In fact it exceeded my expectations to say the least. Thank you for the lovely words about this. It's has been a joy to follow their progress, capturing them on their journey. I was upsetting the Cactus Wren Couple who have their home built in this Cholla Cactus, and the bees weren't too happy as well. Still I managed to pull of some wonderful images. Even standing on a step stool to capture them. I somehow managed not to lose my balance fall into the cactus. I appreciate you also choosing this as one of your favorites! 💕💕💕💕

Viva! How lovely and sweet of you to visit my gallery and share your impressions about my artwork. Thank you so much for that. I am elated that you feel it’s beautiful and that you are happy this beauty is in my desert garden of joy to share! This particular cactus is one I wanted removed, because we were getting rid of some of the over growth of Cholla Cactus in our desert acre. The little spiny glochids drop everywhere, and we get stuck with them, and our grandbaby dogs get them in their paws. But Jerry said we can’t. The cactus wren couple worked hard at rebuilding their nest, and will be using it for winter, and for their babies in the spring. So he trimmed it, just having the top part, making it like a tree. I have followed the birds journey, capturing them along the way. So I was anxiously awaiting these delightful burgundy red flowers to burst forth. It has brought joy to me and I am glad it has to you. My Sonoran desert garden of joy is bursting with spring color. It’s a unique desert, especially being in the Arizona Upland region of that desert (there are 6 regions in this desert), ours being a lush desert, with 5 seasons. I appreciate you choosing this as one of your favorites too! 💕Janet
