I love the Arizona Sonoran Desert, Summer Monsoon Season, because it means FABULOUS, MASSIVE CLOUDS, and glorious sunsets.
August 2018, had some amazing monsoon cloud formations at sunset. The clouds at Tucson Arizona's far eastside, over the Rincon Mountain range, can truly put on quite a show near sundown.
Look how these clouds, dwarf the Rincon Mountains, as it showers behind them. Creating such a wonderful glow in the upper, billowing, cumulonimbus, clouds. In its wake, what luscious hues in this cloud-scape, and a marvelous array of scrumptious colors in the sky. The Sonoran Desert landscape has just a hint of last light, becoming ever dimmer.
It's a most exhilarating experience, to be out photographing the power and beauty of these storms, making a vivid impression on me! I hope it does that for you as well.
