I love the glorious sunsets of Arizona's Sonoran Desert. They are especially beautiful during our Summer Monsoon Season. The sky was forming some pretty unusual cloud formations, stirring the imagination and thoughts as to what can be seen with the clouds.
I just knew the sunset would create such a lovely, vivid background for this wonderful windmill, at Windmill Ridge. I love the windmills of the west. They create such a feel of nostalgia, of by-gone days. I thought this silhouetted windmill among the desert vegetation, would really add to this, "Surreal Sunset Splendor!"
