I love the Arizona Sonoran Desert, Summer Monsoon Rainy Season, because it means FABULOUS CLOUDS. I love clouds in all their stages.
I am ever amazed at what cloudscape will I witness that day. I can always expect to be surprised, at the ever changing atmospheric conditions of our 5th season, the wet summer of monsoon season, and what it will share with me. The Monsoon Season in the Sonoran Desert, extends from the end of June until the end of September. July and August giving the best show.
We can still be given a show, as seen here in the second week of September 2018. The sun is setting further to the southwest, giving me an opportunity to capture the monsoon cloud beauty over the silhouetted Santa Rita Mountain range. The clouds and rain are really beginning to light up with color. Creating such a lovely pastel presentation.

Some of our best clouds are during our summer monsoon season. From June 15-September 30. Although I enjoy capturing them year round if possible. This monsoon season has been scant of rain, but local news weather person assures us it will mean a wet September and October. But the clouds have still been outstanding. I have photographed many, hoping to share more soon. Thank you, Tsc, for visiting my gallery, especially the Cloud Nine, and sharing such a wonderful comment.
