**Explore Zion National Park Travel Art, in my "Zion National Park-Utah" Collection**
Hoodoos are dreamlike rock formations of various sizes and shapes, that grace the tops of the magnificent, variant colors of the Navajo Sandstone cliffs. The hoodoos in Zion are different than those viewed in Bryce Canyon. These Hoodoos are abundant on the eastside of Zion Canyon, along the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. There are pull-offs along the way, that provide excellent views of them.
Here is one of those spots. What a view "When You Get To The Top!" I zoomed in to take a closer look. At the top of the cliffs, with its red colored hoodoos, surrounded by pine trees, gorgeous clouds hover behind these rugged cliffs.

I hope there is a next time. Itβs almost too much to hope for, a sweet dream. No climbing in the eastern part of the Park. I took us to the top by zooming in with my camera. Canyon Overlook, Observation Point, and Angels Landing, all hikes that can take us to the top. Not so sure the body would let Jerry and I. And itβs an exhilarating feeling. I canβt believe I did it so many times. Thanks again for visiting and choosing this as one of your favorites too! Means bunches of appreciation. Janet πππ

Anita! How lovely of you to visit my gallery and share your wonderful thoughts about my artwork. I zoomed in, all the way to the top of 3,000 feet, lets us see the pine forest at the top, and the variance in the colors of the Navajo Sandstone. From white to burnt reddish-orange. It's the grandeur of geology. I am glad you like this and feel it's fabulous. Thank you for that. I also appreciate you choosing this as one of your favorites! πJanet

Excellent shot showcasing the hodoos and white sandstone, Janet. The tall trees looking so tiny way up there sure show us the scale of these towering cliffs!....Fav / like
Janet Marie replied:
It was fun to use the telephoto lens to view the top. I was loving those clouds creeping up behind the cliffs. The east entrance sure has some diversity in appearance compared to the main part of the Canyon. So glad we had the chance to leisurely stop, to take in these moments! Thank you for noticing the scale of the cliffs. I am glad I pulled it off. Thank you for the love and support of my artwork. I appreciate that and for choosing this as one of your favorites too! ππππ
