Description
We have many Sonoran Desert dwellers, who have made our home, their home. The Northern Cardinal, a resident of Arizona's Sonoran Desert, is seen quite often. Although, due to their bright colors, they tend to stay "Hidden From View." Generally landing in the diverse desert vegetation, in desert garden of joy.
They are very difficult to capture with the camera, as they come and go so quickly. I liked photographing this demure, female Northern Cardinal, in this natural setting. She tries to be a bit inconspicuous, by landing in one of my creosotes bushes, surrounded by prickly pear cactus.
Arizona, has named their professional football team, the "Arizona Cardinals."

How they fly right to a little branch without colliding with all of the others is beyond me, Janet. They canโt escape your notice though. Very nice natural setting here!.....Fav / like

I love that I was able to capture the natural desert vegetation with this one. Itโs not easy photographing wild birds, as they donโt stay very long in one place. I am hoping with the new camera to photograph more birds that visit our desert garden of joy. I appreciate you choosing this as one of your favorites too! ๐๐๐๐
