It is true that some deserts can be harsh, such as the Mojave Desert, but the Arizona Upland region of the Sonoran Desert, is not one of those deserts. It is quite lush and beautiful.

Jane! It is a luscious color isn't it! My "Think Pink" color. It really stands out, with the macro lens, and the highest pixel my Nikon allows, capturing it the right time of day, to produce that incredible detail. Sometimes I try to capture the shot when I am available, but doesn't always work though.
