Description
Part of our fantastic trip in Saguaro National Park, is capturing all the wonders of this unique and fabulous National Park (one of three in Arizona, USA). Of course I am always hoping for sublime cloud, sky, and sunset captures. Especially fond when they take on pink and purplelicious hues against the blue sky.
Here we have glorious, luminescent, dappled, billowy CLOUDS, behind silhouetted Saguaro Cactus lined foothills! What a scrumptious delight for the eyes to behold!! A September "Saguaro Sunset Splendor!!"

I really like your Saguaro sunset image Janet. I was at the one park down by Tuscon a few years ago and it was in the middle of the day and in the summer. I about died of heat stroke... lol :-) My daughter lives in Phoenix so we are down there almost every year. We try to come now in the spring when its cool . :-) Nice to have you as a FAA friend and follower. You have a very nice array of images, and I'm very impressed with what I see. :-) FV

Saguaro National Park East-Rincon Mountain District is cooler than Saguaro West-Tucson Mountain District. June is not a good time there though. I did a photoshoot in August, which cools down due to the Summer Monsoon rains, and this was the beginning of Fall. So both times the weather was nice. Going there in the late afternoon until sundown. Thank you for welcoming me as an FAA friend and follower. I am glad you like my work and feel it's nice and impressed. I am humbled. I appreciate your support with the fave too!!

I love Utah too! But this is the Unique Sonoran Desert, last of the Monsoon season clouds. Arizona skies are the BEST because the atmospheric events in the monsoon season creates these magnificent clouds, then the filtered light during golden hour, illuminates the clouds with brilliant colors.
