💕Explore Saguaro National Park Travel Art, in my "Saguaro National Park - Arizona" Collection💕
It was a glorious spring day, in the Arizona Sonoran Desert. The desert becomes a showy display of color. It was no exception this day in May 2019, at the Saguaro National Park Rincon Mountain District, Tucson, Arizona. (USA).
I wanted to especially capture some of the Saguaro Cactus blooms, but also, "It's Springtime Gold!" As you can see, the Palo Verde Trees are in full bloom, giving us a sea of yellow. The flower capped Saguaro Cactus, are nestled throughout, along with other desert flora in bloom and the newly leafed mesquite trees. The Tucson Mountains are looming in the atmospheric background.
Sharing such a lovely glimpse of our springtime brilliance, putting to rest those that say the desert is brown and ugly.

Thank you dear Jerry for the wonderful words expressed. I love to showcase the true beauty of the Saguaro Cactus. Not rendered in some isolated, empty brown dirt, desert. Rather, sheltered in the lush protection of their former nurse plants. Allowing them to grow to these heights and live for a 150 years or more. Most do not survive, as the seedlings need that initial protection, so they can flourish. I am glad you like this and have chosen it as a favorite too! Janet💕
