Saguaro Cactus Bouquet

Kathy! Thank you for sharing your wonderful comment. The saguaro cactus is the monarch of the Arizona Sonoran Desert. Only found in that desert. Every May these giants produce these glorious flowers with a hint of melon fragrance. Saguaro spectacle indeed.

Mary! Aren’t you sweet. Only the tip of the iceberg, I have so many yet to post. Besides cloudscapes, saguaros are my favorite thing to photograph. They tell such a story, so fun to photograph. Thank you for sharing your wonderful comment. I really appreciate it!

Thank you Kathryn for saying so. The Saguaro Cactus is a favorite of mine, and when they bloom, they are extra special. The middle of May to early June, flower at night, and are finished by the next day's afternoon.

Regina! Thank you for stopping by to visit my gallery and choosing to view my cactus flowers. My region of the Sonoran Desert (as there are 7, mine being the Arizona Upland), is teaming with a wonderful variety of cactus, and springtime let’s us know. Although my barrel cacti bloom in August. The Saguaro cactus flowers bloom in May. They stand up to 50 feet tall and bloom on the top, and on at the top of the arms. This is about 15 feet, with no arms yet. So getting to the top is challenging to capture. I appreciate your wonderful words expressed about this, taking special notice and choosing it as one of your favorites too! Janet 💕

Viva dah-ling! How simply mah-velous of you to visit my gallery and get to see my Saguaro Cactus blooms. Oh how the Saguaro Cactus love to be in this unique desert. The Arizona Upland region of the Sonoran Desert. It started out as a seedling, being protected by this “nurse” plant, the Mesquite Tree. The month of May is when they are at their peak. Last year I missed out capturing these beauties. This one was especially lovely, showing off its new spring bonnet. Thank you for your always so beautiful words expressed about my artwork.
