A Family Reunion

Thank you so much, Greta for thinking so. These saguaros grew up in the protection of this nurse tree, the palo verde. It has done its job for sure as we see this family of saguaros flourishing. I crashed their family reunion with this capture. A great way to get a dead tree in the mix, as I love to photograph their rugged beauty, too.

A whole family of them, reminding me of a family reunion. Saguaros have such human like characteristics and such personality.

Well I guess we just came by at the right time, a family gathering. Truly a KODAK moment, as they used to say. I agree with never seeing a community of them before, all in one spot.
