Description
A beautiful autumn day in Tucson, Arizona's Sonoran Desert. A favorite spot of mine to stop and view Saguaro National Park East-Rincon Mountain District, from the outside, looking in. The drive along Old Spanish affords one the opportunity to get a first glance view of this uniquely, marvelous area.
Already, the monarchs of the cactus world, the saguaro, welcome you to this surprisingly lush and diverse land. If you are like most whizzing along this road, unless you stop, you miss out on this glimpse of what awaits you at Saguaro National Park.
A cloud-filled blue sky is the icing on the cake. Many of these saguaros are 150 or more years old.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful place. There is nothing like Saguaro NP.
Janet Marie replied:
Bruna! You are right about that. The East Rincon District is the largest of the two parks with more mountain views. The West Tucson Mountain District has more dense saguaro collection. Thank you for visiting my gallery of work and sharing such a nice comment about it. I really appreciate it!
